Rosa is a left-wing activist and her sister Ailie is a born-to-shop fashionista. They seem to come from opposite ends of the gene pool. When their father dies, the sisters bid farewell to their mother and travel to Cuba, the home to many intriguing family legends, where they intend to disperse their father’s ashes. In Havana, Rosa and Ailie lose the ashes and embark on a series of misadventures, which includes a sexually charged pas de deux with a ballet teacher called Tomas.
