Seventeen-year-old Cecile spends the summer with her debonair, fun-loving father Raymond and his mistress Elsa on the French Riviera. Dynamics within the group change when Anne Larson, a friend of Cecile’s late mother, arrives at the villa. Sparks of attraction are evident between Raymond and Anne and he eventually dumps Elsa. To Cecile’s surprise, her father announces his impending marriage to Anne so the teenager secretly plots to sabotage the impending nuptials.
