The Royal Ballet’s Artist in Residence Liam Scarlett unveils his first full-length ballet for the main stage – a brooding period adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Gothic tale of morality and rebirth, which was recorded live on the stage of the Royal Opera House in London. University student Victor Frankenstein is haunted by the death of his mother in childbirth. So he resolves to defy nature and reanimate the dead but his ground-breaking experiment gives birth to a hideous Monster.
