Stanley is a loner who lives off the wild rabbits and berries from the ancient forests that surround his remote farmhouse. During one of his daily hunts, he stumbles upon a crashed car in the river. Inside are lovers Sara and Iwan. Against his better judgement, Stanley takes the couple to his home so they can recuperate from their ordeal. Iwan is immediately suspicious of Stanley, and grows jealous of Sara's bond of friendship with the socially awkward hermit.
