Amy Winehouse’s drug use is putting her appearance at next month’s prestigious Grammy Awards at risk.

The troubled singer has been nominated for six accolades at the event, which takes place in Los Angeles on February 10, but must prove she is drug free to get a US work visa.
The Rehab star must prove she has not taken any illegal substances for three weeks, but has told pals she’s not ready to give up. A source told The Sun: “Amy’s been told she needs to pass a drug test before she can get a visa.
“She is doing much better and has cut down her drug use but still isn’t clean. Her recent holiday in Mustique was about cleaning up and it did help. But it is hard to believe there will be a time before going to the US that she could pass the test. Her team are desperate to clean her up as the Grammys is such a big deal. But Amy’s not so bothered.”
Earlier this week, it was claimed Amy had been singing with her dad to improve her self-confidence. Amy – whose husband Blake Fielder-Civil is currently in prison awaiting trial on charges of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and grievous bodily harm (GBH) – performed on several occasions with 57-year-old Mitch at her London home over the festive period.
Taxi driver Mitch was hoping it would give Amy the boost she needed to perform at the Grammys.
