The concert is the fifth annual event held in conjunction with the BRIT Awards, which take place two days later on 20 February, and which will feature a special War Child Special Recognition Award.

Singer Matt Bellamy said: “We are proud to have a continuing association with War Child, who have been doing amazing work over the last 20 years.

“It’s great to see their efforts being recognised at this year’s BRITs and we are really looking forward to playing this special show for them”.

All ticket proceeds from the concert will go to aid War Child’s work with children in war zones across the world. The previous four concerts have raised over £600,000 for the cause.

Muse also play the Emirates stadium – Arsenal’s ground – on the 25 and 26 May.
