Jay-Z will make his only European appearance of 2013 when he performs at the event.

Joining both artists on the bill are Snoop Dogg, John Legend, Frank Ocean, Rita Ora, DJ Fresh and Calvin Harris, with more acts to be announced at a later date.

Promoter Steve Homer from Live Nation said: “Wireless Festival has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2005, we’re incredibly excited to take it to its new home, London’s iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and are delighted to secure Justin Timberlake and welcome back Jay-Z.”

Timberlake has marked his return to music in 2013 after taking time off to concentrate on his acting career, recently unveiling tracks from his forthcoming third album, The 20/20 Experience.

Jay-Z has also been helping out with Timberlake’s comeback, appearing on the album’s first single Suit and Tie, which they performed at the Grammy awards together earlier this month.

Tickets for Wireless festival are available this coming Friday, 22 February 22.
