Girls Aloud will film a three-part documentary for their 10th anniversary.

The girl band are reportedly close to signing a deal with ITV to make the new series which will look back at their career and follow them as they are reunited on their anniversary tour.

A source said: ”There is a soft spot for Girls Aloud. Seeing as they were created on ITV it seems only fitting that we mark their 10th anniversary in style.”

If the project goes ahead it is set to air in December.

Kimberley Walsh has recently revealed her excitement at the Girls aloud reunion.
Although the singer warned talks are in the early stages, she admitted the chance to appear on stage together with Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts is an very exciting prospect.

She said: ”I am really excited to get back with the girls and do some stuff. It’s quite early stages so we are just talking about what will happen.

”It’s exciting to be starting those discussions. It’s been a while, three years, so we are excited to get back and do something to celebrate our ten years together. That’s a huge achievement for any band, especially a girl band.”
