The 24-year-old judge – who sits on the panel along with Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh – is ready to walk away from the singing competition show after two years according to her father, Plato, 53, who claims she is “bored of it”.

Speaking to Now magazine, Plato said: “Tulisa doesn’t want to be there, she’s bored of it. She doesn’t need The X Factor, she’s got N-Dubz.”

Plato thinks his daughter can attain more fame and money with her former band – which is also made up of cousin Dappy and her ex-boyfriend Fazer – and he is ready to support her in any decision she makes.

He added: “What I want for her is security, so she never has to rely on anybody apart from herself.

“I want her to make some serious dosh, millions, by doing an independent album with N-Dubz.”

The hip-hop group went on a hiatus in 2011 following the release of a greatest hits album, but Tulisa has stated on several occasions she wants to the trio to reform in 2013.

However, when recently quizzed on whether she would return to the ‘X Factor’ judging panel, she responded: “Yes, I would. Definitely.”

In her first series in 2011 Tulisa mentored girl group Little Mix to victory in ‘The X Factor’ final, with the band securing a record deal and achieving chart success since.
