Ashley Cole comforts bronchitis victim Cheryl
- 'He wanted to wish her better,' says source

CHERYL COLE has been comforted by estranged husband Ashley in her battle against bronchitis.
"Ashley's friends had told him how sick she was and he was worried and said he wanted to see her and wish her better," a source told The Mirror.
Confined to her bed due to her illness, Cheryl gave Ashley nearly an hour of her time at the couple's Surrey mansion.
The conversation is said to have been "cordial".
Reportedly, the Chelsea and England footballer didn't bring up the subject of patching things up with his wife and is said to be resigned to the fact that the marriage is over.
"There were no shouting matches and he didn't beg her to take him back," said the source.
"Meeting him was a big step for her. She can now concentrate on getting better and is desperate to get back to work and focus on her career. She just wants to move on."
Last month, Ashley was caught with incriminating text messages from other women.
