The award-winning Edinburgh-based three-piece, consisting of Martin Green, Kris Drever and Aidan O'Rourke, plays experimental acoustic folk.
The Edinburgh-based trio is in a class of its own, having spearheaded the 21st-century folk revival by incorporating tropes from rock and electronica. Among their new songs is Scapa Flow 1919 written for the BBC Radio Ballads series. The group comprises Kris Drever on vocals and guitar, Martin Green on accordion, Wurlitzer and electronics and Aidan O'Rourke on fiddle.
