The annual list compiled by GQ magazine featured 23-year-old Harry in 12th place, above Closer actor Clive Owen, British fashion designer Giles Deacon and Rocket Man singer Sir Elton John.

Charles was 25th on the list, while Philip came in 33rd place, closely following by Michael in 34th.

A royal insider said: “Harry is delighted to be included in the list, especially in the top 20. Even though he has gone down two places from last year, he is still included, which is more than can be said for his brother, Prince William.”

James Bond actor Daniel Craig was named Britain’s Best Dressed Man for the second year running. Elsewhere, Prince William, 25, appeared at number 16 in the magazine’s worst dressed list.

The poll was topped by British comedian Russell Brand, who was described as a “cross between Worzel Gummidge and Lord Byron after a night on acid”.
