The royal couple will open the head office of legendary family bakery Walkers Shortbread in Moray.

The business, founded in 1898, started with a single shop in tiny Scottish village Aberlour on Spey but soon increased in size and now exports to more than 80 countries worldwide with over 1,000 employees.

After opening the bakery, Charles and Camilla – who celebrate their four-year anniversary tomorrow – will visit the UK’s only standing vertical woollen mill Johnstons of Elgin.

They will open the visitor centre at the mill and will be given a tour of the factory.

Charles and Camilla will finish day by watching barrel-making at Speyside Cooperage, which makes the barrels used to contain Scotland’s famous whisky.
