Eric and Ernie, probably Britain’s best ever comedy double-act, have been honoured with a Blue Plaque, placed on a wall of the Teddington TV studios where their shows were filmed. ‘The shows are still funny,’ said Morecambe’s widow Joan at the unveiling ceremony yesterday.
