Radio 1’s breakfast DJ announced live on air today that he is to quit his show after eight years. ‘I wanted to tell you myself,’ he told listeners. ‘I didn’t want you to see it in the newspapers or on Twitter.’ Moyles will carry on until September, when it is thought Greg James will take over.
