LONDON’S first indoor archery centre – 2020 Archery – opens near Kings Cross today, ready with an offer of a year’s free membership for suitably named people.

“If your name is Robin, find a Marian, or vice-versa, and get down to 2020 Archery for a year’s free membership and an archery lesson on the house,” says Heidi Nicholl, the centre’s manager.
Robin Hood would probably have approved of the deal, as he didn’t like to pay for things, but the generous-of-heart Maid Marian might have told him off for being a bit tight.
As well as a full-length 20 yard range (the only indoor one in London), 2020 Archery also features a 10 yard one, which is handy for beginners and kids. There are also a variety of courses, for kids through to professionals, plus one-off sessions.
