LONDON is the angriest city in Britain and Lambeth is its seething, molten core, according to a study by experts in the field of fiery tempers.

The British Association of Anger Management says that after Lambeth, the bad-vibes league reads: Enfield, Barnet, Westminster, Lewisham and Hammersmith/Fulham, giving London the top six angriest areas in the country.

That happy breed helps London as a whole claim the angry capital tag, with Manchester and Birmingham taking silver and bronze in the Grrr stakes.

BAAM hasn’t got a special hi-tech anger-measuring gizmo, but bases its report on social deprivation figures such as crime stats and unemployment figures as well as its own database covering things like road rage.

“Anger is not only on the increase but could be
reaching pandemic levels,” said BAAM’s Mike Fisher.
