KATE MOSS is in trouble with the healthy eating lobby after coming out with the motto “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”, despite saying that being “beautiful inside“ is the route to attractiveness.

“There are 1.1million [people with] eating disorders in the UK alone,” said Katie Green, an ex-model who runs the Say No To Size Zero Campaign.

“Kate Moss’s comments are likely to cause many more. If you read any of the pro anorexia websites they go crazy for quotes like these.”

To be fair to the Croydon-bred supermodel, the motto originates from an old Weight Watchers tag line and the context of her quote is that these lifestyle slogans are rubbish in any case.

“There are loads of mottos,” Moss told fashion website WWD.

“There’s ‘Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels’. You try and remember, but it never works. It sounds really corny but I think that if you’re beautiful inside, it shows on the outside, for sure.”
