FOO FIGHTERS will headline the Reading Festival this year, it was announced today (13.03.12), while other big names like Kasabian and the Kaiser Chiefs have also been confirmed for the late August music weekender.

The Best of You hitmakers will appear at Reading on Sunday 26 August making it the third time the group – made up of Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Taylor Hawkins and Chris Shiflett – have headlined the festival.
The Cure take the stage on Friday 24 August in one of only two UK live appearances for the post-punk legends this year. The other is at Reading’s sister festival in Leeds, which shares the same acts.
Kasabian take headline duties at Reading on Saturday 25 August.
Other acts to play the eagerly-anticipated event – which draws 160,000 music fans – include Paramore, in what will be their only festival appearance in the UK, Florence and the Machine and The Black Keys.
The Vaccines, Enter Shikari, The Shins, Mystery Jets, Katy B and Bullet For My Valentine are all also on the bill.
