Leonard Zelig possesses the rare and remarkable ability to take on the appearance of the people around him in order to fit in. Brilliant psychiatrist Dr Eudora Fletcher admits Zelig to her hospital where she treats his disorder, identifying an acute lack of self-belief. As Dr Fletcher begins her treatment to build up Zelig’s self-confidence and free him from the shackles of his condition, she falls in love with her star patient.
