Dr Frederick Frankenstein learns he has inherited a vast estate in Transylvania from his great-grandfather, Baron Beaufort von Frankenstein. Travelling to the property, Frederick meets fearsome housekeeper Frau Blucher, pretty personal assistant Inga and a hunchback servant called Igor. In mysterious new surroundings, Frederick becomes obsessed with his great-grandfather's experiments to reanimate the dead and he vows to continue the ground-breaking research.
