Israeli secret service operative Zohan is one of his country’s most deadly agents but he has little interest in espionage. Indeed, his burning desire is to cut and blow dry so he fakes his own death and heads off to America where he invents a new identity, Australian crimper Scrappy Coco, and lands a job in the salon run by Palestinian beauty Dalia. Scrappy becomes the talk of the neighbourhood and even strikes up a friendship with local Arab cab driver Salim. However, Zohan’s past comes back to haunt him when arch-nemesis from the criminal underworld, the Phantom, turns up in the Big Apple and declares war.
