Eighteen-year-old Richard Karlsen is a model student and son who is close to his parents, Peter and Catherine. The young man takes a shine to pretty and popular school friend Lara, who used to date his rugby team-mate Conor. Richard becomes jealous of Lara’s close relationship with her old flame and he turns to the bottle. Following one boozy house party, he lashes out and there are terrible consequences.
