Johnny Jones is the former vocalist of 1980s punk outfit, The Weapons Of Happiness. A funeral reunites Johnny with his band mates, Griff, Minto and Robbie, and that night, they jam together for the first time in years. In the morning, Johnny listens to the song they recorded and attempts to sell the track but is told the youth of today aren’t interested in middle-aged has-beens. So Johnny claims the single is the debut release of an undiscovered Welsh band called The Single Shots.
