Drama set against the backdrop of the real-life destruction of Lebanon during the summer of 2006, when Hezbollah and Israel traded devastating blows. Shiite woman Zeina leaves her home in Dubai and travels to Beirut with the intention of finding her young son Karim, who is supposedly being sheltered by her sister in the small village of Kherbet Selem. Christian taxi driver Tony is the only man willing to make the perilous journey and as the couple embarks on this momentous trip through the war zone, Zeina and Tony overcome cultural differences to discover a shared sense of purpose.
