Gideon and his wife Suzie are a hard-working, well-off black couple who live in an affluent suburb of Los Angeles. The family’s routine is upset by the arrival of Harry, a distant relative from down south, who seems to know an awful lot about the darkest secrets of each generation. As Harry stokes the flames of sibling rivalries, suspicion and jealousy within the household, so Gideon and his clan begin to turn on one another.
