The Zookeeper's Wife (Autism Friendly Screening) (12A)

Dr Jan Zabinski and his wife Antonina assume control of the Warsaw Zoo as bombs rain down on the city and many animals are killed during the aerial bombardment. Jews are subsequently rounded up in Warsaw and sent to the Ghetto. Two of Jan and Antonina’s friends, Maurycy Fraenkel and his wife Magda are marked with the Star of David and the Zabinskis risk their own lives to shelter Magda in their attic. This act of defiance inspires Jan and Antonina to save more Jews from the Ghetto.
