A revealing documentary, which ventures inside Folsom State Prison in California to observe the work of the Inner Circle Foundation, who hope to rehabilitate some of the inmates – many of whom are serving life sentences – through intense four-day therapy sessions with men from the outside world. The film focuses on three of these non-inmates – a museum employee, a bartender and a teacher’s assistant – and their interactions with three lifers.
