Documentary about British explorer George Mallory and his heroic quest to become the first person to conquer Mount Everest’s highest peak in 1924. Last seen 800 feet below the mountain’s peak, wearing gabardine and hobnailed boots, Mallory disappeared without trace until 1999 when renowned mountaineer Conrad Anker discovered the explorer’s frozen body high in the mountain’s notorious “death zone”.
