An affectionate documentary about the New York City rock band 'managed' by Andy Warhol. Originally lining up with Lou Reed as lead singer alongside John Cale, guitarist Sterling Morrison and drummer Angus MacLise, The Velvet Underground became the house band of Warhol's Factory and left an indelible mark on popular culture with songs including of After Hours and Venus In Furs. This documentary juxtaposes rare archive film and video with interviews with surviving members Cale and Mo Tucker.
