Angela Holmes exhibits alarming behaviour that scares the life out of her boyfriend Pete and father Roger. Fearful of the danger she poses to herself as well as others, Roger and Pete turn to local priest Father Oscar Lozano for spiritual guidance. He suspects that Angela is in the thrall of an ancient satanic force and strongly recommends the intervention of two exorcists from the Vatican, Cardinal Bruun and Vicar Imani, to cleanse the girl and rid her of the evil.
