Located less than a mile from the City of London, Hoxton Street proudly clings onto its rich history as a working-class community of the aged, dispossessed and poor. Waves of immigrants have been integrated into this close-knit hub since the 1950s but the decline of traditional industries coupled with an influx of young urban hipsters has deepened the social and financial divide. This documentary spends time with the ageing white residents to capture their feelings and fears.
