Kristen McKay and her boyfriend James Hoyt flee a friend’s wedding reception early. Returning home, the couple sits awkwardly, raking over the dying embers of their relationship after James’ marriage proposal doesn’t elicit the response he was hoping for. The silence is broken by an urgent knock at the door. “Is Tamara here?” asks a young woman, who subsequently disappears into the night, perhaps to visit a neighbouring house.
