A feature-length documentary about adventure-seeking young American missionary John Chau and his ill-fated 2018 expedition to make contact with one of the world's most isolated peoples on remote North Sentinel Island. The film is granted access to Chau's secret plans, personal diaries and video archives to chart an obsession that led to his death.
