The Djinn

Twelve-year-old mute Dylan moves into a new apartment with his single father Michael. The property has a grim history - the previous owner purportedly died at home - and little Dylan's sense of unease is heightened by the absence of his mother. The little boy believes she wouldn't have left them if he could speak. When Dylan stumbles upon an ancient text called The Book Of Shadows, the youngster foolishly summons a sinister genie to wish for an end to his silence.
