Andrei used to conduct the Bolshoi Orchestra until fate and politics conspired against him. Now, he works as a janitor. As he cleans the orchestra director’s office, Andrei discovers a fax from the world famous Theatre du Chatelet in Paris about a last minute cancellation in the theatre’s concert schedule. Andrei contacts his old musical comrades including cellist Sacha and they head for the French capital, posing as the real Bolshoi.
