Sweet Bean (Parent And Baby Screening) (PG)

Sentaro owns a shop where he studiously makes dorayaki, pancakes sandwiched together with sweet red bean paste that are moreish snacks for the dwindling clientele. An elderly customer called Tokue applies for a job at the shop. She offers harsh criticism of Sentaro’s red bean filling and claims her homemade paste is better. Initially, Sentaro dismisses Tokue but when she delivers a jar of her delicious red bean paste, he gladly hires her to take his dorayaki to the next level.
