Middle-aged dreamer Eugene is married to Milady but he begins to secretly dream about another woman, whose name it transpires is Eugenia, just like his mother. In his dreams, Eugenia falls pregnant and the romance blossoms. Fearful that this mystery woman will disappear from his subconscious, Eugene consults a psychoanalyst, who is aghast at the husband’s alternate life and the repercussions for his real-life relationships.
