Scheming US government agent Amanda Waller hatches a diabolical scheme to round up some of the most dangerous incarcerated criminals in the world and use them to carry out covert missions with a limited chance of success. Misfit members of Task Force X – or the Suicide Squad as it becomes known – will be kept in check with micro-bombs implanted in their necks. Anyone who defies authority or strays from the mission brief will be swiftly terminated. By completing their tasks, the group members can reduce their sentences.
