Stanley has been behind bars for almost 15 years in a Victorian psychiatric prison but he continues to profess his innocence. He is deemed a low risk and is granted privileges to clean the facility. In exchange, the guards reward Stanley with tokens, which he feeds into the metre that powers an archaic television in his cell, on which he watches videos of show business performers. One day, without warning or explanation, Stanley’s privileges are revoked and his mental state deteriorates.
