Kind-hearted woodcutter Santa Claus presides over a toy workshop run by elves at the North Pole, where they manufacture gifts for the children of the world to be delivered on Christmas Eve using a herd of flying reindeer. Rebellious and foolhardy elf Patch abandons his snow-laden home for the bright lights of New York and is mercilessly exploited by villainous toy manufacturer BZ. The true spirit of Christmas is jeopardised and Patch reunites with the man in the big red suit to save Yuletide.
