Born in 1904 in Catalonia, Salvador Dali left an indelible mark on the art world and popular culture with his surrealist images. This documentary attempts to delve into the life and work of Dali and his relationship with muse and collaborator Gala. The film begins in 1929, when the artist met Gala and joined the surrealist group, and continues until his death in 1989, paying particular attention to his home-workshop in the village of Portlligat and his hometown of Figueres.
