Seattle-based magazine writer Jeff Schwensen is intrigued by a newspaper ad asking for volunteers to travel back in time. “Safety not guaranteed. I have only done this once before,” reads the quirky notice. Jeff travels to Ocean View in the company of sardonic colleague Darius Britt and science geek Arnau. They meet paranoid store worker Kenneth Calloway, who intends to travel back in time so he can save his girlfriend, Belinda, from the accident that claimed her life.
