Sixteen years ago, writer Amadeo abruptly departed his beloved Cuba for self-imposed exile in Spain. He left without warning or explanation, leaving behind a coterie of pals and his wife. His return to Havana is celebrated at the house of engineer Aldo, whose home has a prime view of the Malecon on the seafront. As the rest of the party arrives including wheeler dealer Eddy, artist Rafa and ophthalmologist Tania, nagging questions about Amadeo’s disappearance all those years ago resurface.
