In 1993, Ruth Bader Ginsburg became only the second female Associate Justice of The Supreme Court of the United States, continuing a legacy which began in the 1970s when she operated as a volunteer lawyer for the American Civil Liberties Union. This documentary gains access to Ginsburg and her friends and family to chart her rise to the nation's highest court. The film plunders archive photographs and footage to chronicle her trailblazing work for women's right and gender equality.
