Teenager Justine has been raised as a vegetarian by her strict parents, who are fanatical about removing all meat from the family’s diets. Justine follows her older sister Alexia to veterinary college, where she is subjected to a series of hazing rituals along with the other freshmen including her gay roommate, Adrien. One of these tests is to eat a rabbit’s kidney and Justine reluctantly agrees. The forbidden taste of flesh causes Justine’s skin to develop a painful rash.
