Illegitimate son Pushpa Raj works in the Seshachalam Hills as part of a red sandalwood smuggling operation run by Konda Reddy. The ambitious upstart impresses his boss and slowly makes a name for himself in the Chittoor district, bribing officials to ensure the wood sells for a handsome price.
