Seventeen years after he witnesses the murder of his parents at the hands of corrupt Roman senator Corvus, slave Milo arrives in 79 AD Pompeii to fight in the gladiatorial arena. He catches the eye of the beautiful Cassia but she is betrothed to Corvus.
