Deranged Lieutenant Muldoon launches a bio-chemical attack on an unsuspecting town. Soon, the local hospital is swamped with residents covered in nasty, gangrenous sores. Doctor William Block and his wife Dakota struggle to cope with the steady flow of infected patients. Sexy stripper Cherry Darling loses one of her legs in a zombie attack and is rushed to the hospital with old flame El Wray by her side. They subsequently lead the survivors, including Sheriff Hague, in a do-or-die race against time to escape from the zombie apocalypse but the advancing hordes of undead sure like the taste of human flesh.
