American astronaut Captain Charles "Chuck" Baker touches down on Planet 51 believing he will be the first creature to ever set foot on this alien world. Instead, the human interloper discovers the planet is already inhabited with little green people, whose society bears a spooky resemblance to '50s white picket fence America. These creatures have but one fear: that their peace-loving planet will be overrun by alien invaders, which look suspiciously like Chuck.
